Images from Daily Life
Maybe you are interested in seeing some of the things I see on a daily/regular basis here in India. From these images you may gain a better understanding of how things are. While some things look different, I can assure you, we are more alike and similar than different.
Folks here in India go to work, bring their children to school, shop to buy fruit, stop for lunch at a stand on the side of the road, take a break to sip chai and talk with friends, warm themselves around a fire, take selfies, sit by the river, get dressed up, ride bicycles, swing on swings, climb trees, have dogs, tend to gardens, take out the trash, sweep outside of their storefront, go to the market on Sunday, deliver food, sell things, ask you to buy things, fly kites, honk at one another (* see below), wait in traffic, talk on their phone, laugh, hug, hold hands, dance, sing, hang laundry to dry and oh so much more….
*There are so many variations of horn honking. One may honk a horn to say:
Move over
It’s okay to pass me
I see you
I am coming around the bend
I am announcing that I am here
I am behind you
With a heart full of gratitude, love, light and joy,
HUGS
